Bhrigu Lake Trek in Himachal Pardesh is one of the most captivating short treks in the Himalayas and it greets you to witness high altitude alpine lake, the verdant meadows, and everything your heart has yearned for. The mesmerizing lake has its own majestic beauty as it changes its colors with each passing season. In late summer, it changes its color to emerald green, and in summer it turns its beauty to
blue which is a fascinating sight for the eyes to behold.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Manali | A Town Nestled in the Picturesque Beas River Valley

Reach Manali where you can directly head to your pre-booked campsite. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and explore around. You can visit the mystical Hadimba Devi Temple, which locals refer to as the heart of Manali and is located amidst the beautiful Deodar trees. You can also visit the Manu Temple, Vashisht Temple to feel the spiritual aura. Surrounded by shops selling handicrafts and carpets, the Tibetan Monastery is a famous sight that you can explore.
Later, in the evening you are free to explore the Mall road, where you can visit some of the best cafes in Manali or indulge in a shopping spree.
In the evening, return back to your campsite for dinner.

Day 2

Manali to RoliKholi | Begin the Prettiest Grassland Trek in Himachal

After having an early breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Reach your pre-decided spot in Manali. where you will have an orientation and briefing session with your trek leader and your fellow mates. Later, board a vehicle that will take you to the base village of Gulaba while picking up your packed lunch on the way. You will be dropped off on the road near Gulaba, from where you will begin your trek towards Gulaba and further to our 1st campsite of RoliKholi.
Initially, you will be hiking through a thick forest cover till Gulaba and later the trail will enter into a lush green open meadow. As you walk through the open meadow you will be surrounded by mesmerising views of the towering Himalayas like the Hanuman Tibba Peak, Seven sisters, etc. A short walk further through a forest cover will take you to the campsite of RoliKholi. Soak in the views of the clouds popping from the valley below as you settle in your tents.
Overnight stay and dinner at your campsite in RoliKholi.

Day 3

RoliKholi to Bhrigu Lake | Spend some time besides this sacred lake Description

Wake up early in the morning to a beautiful sunrise view and have your breakfast. Today, as you start trekking, you will pass through some high plateaus and lush green ridges that will take you to the sacred Bhrigu Lake. It takes around 3 hours to reach Bhrigu, where we'll carry packed lunch and have it by the lake. Sit for some time beside this sacred lake and soak in the panoramic views of the PirPanjal and Dhauladhar ranges right in front of you. Care should be taken so that no littering happens up here and one is not allowed to take a dip in this sacred lake. Consistent with many accounts Rishi Bhrigu meditated here, thus making it a sacred place for many.
After lunch, we'll descend to the Moridogu campsite and relax for some time.
Further, we will trek back to RoliKholi base camp and stay overnight.

Day 4

RoliKholi to Manali | Take back happy memories from the mountains

Today's day marks the end of this amazing adventure.
After a mouth-watering breakfast, check out of the camps and begin your descend towards Kulang village.
The trek is straightforward because it features a moderate descend throughout and can take around 3-4 hours to reach Kulang.
A vehicle from Kulang village will take you back to Manali where the experience comes to an end.
Get back home with splendid memories of this delightful trekking experience.
