Dalhousie, Khajjiar and Manali Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Chandigarh - Dalhousie

You will be picked from Chandigarh and drive for Dalhousie. Upon arrival at Dalhousie, transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Have some rest and local sightseeing in Dalhousie. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2

Dalhousie - Khajjiar

After breakfast, we proceed to Khajjiar, which is also known as India's very own Switzerland. Khajjiar was probably a glacial bowl formed during the last Himalayan ice age and left with a lake that gradually withered away. Khajjiar is part of the notified Kalatop - Khajjiar sanctuary. At Khajjiar, there is a temple that was constructed in the 12 century dedicated to Khajjl Nag. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Khajjiar - Dharamshala

After breakfast drive to Dharamshala. It is a place that is profuse with picturesque locations and amazing vistas. You will get a great peace of mind after visiting this place. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4

Dharamshala-Mcloedganj

After the lip-smacking breakfast, get yourself ready for the local sightseeing in Dharamshala. There is a vibrant small bazaar, where you can purchase the Tibetan handicrafts and artifacts. Visit the Namgyal Monastery and the large idols of Lord Buddha will certainly astonish you. There are various other prominent temples to visit like the Jwalamukhi, Brijeshwari and Chamunda. Day 5

Dharamshala - Manali

Check out of your hotel in the morning and drive from Dharamshala to Manali. Stop for the scrumptious lunch at a highway motel between Chandigarh/Dharamshala (at your expenses). In the evening, after some rest local sightseeing in Manali (Many temple, Hidimba Temple, Vashisht temple. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

Day 6

Manali - Sissu

After the hearty breakfast, get ready for the sightseeing tour of the Manali hill station and visit the Sissu village, an off beat and a beautiful village near Manali with a beautiful waterfall, Atal tunnel, 9 km tunnel in Manali. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7

Manali - Jibhi

In the morning, check out of your hotel and drive from Manali to Jibhi. After reaching Jibhi, check-in to your hotel and after taking some rest, proceed for sightseeing tour in the afternoon and visit famous Mall Road and do some shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8

Jibhi Explore - Shimla

After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for sightseeing tour of Jibhi. After that transfer to Shimla. Visit several prominent attractions like the Jakhoo Hill, St. Michael's Cathedral and Naldhera (the nine hole golf course), Indian Institute of Advanced Study (also known as the Viceroy's hall - this is the place where British conducted their meetings during the summer season in India), Kufri where you can rejuvenate yourself amidst the dense forests, snow-capped mountains and exotic flora and fauna. Day 9

Jakhu Temple & Departure
