Day 1
The scenic drive follows the beautiful Teesta River, passing through lush green hills, winding mountain roads, charming villages, and picturesque waterfalls. Enjoy the refreshing mountain air as you gradually ascend towards Gangtok.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. In the evening, visit the lively MG Marg, a pedestrian-only street lined with cafés, souvenir shops, local handicraft stores, restaurants, and bakeries. Spend your leisure time soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.
Return to the hotel for dinner (if included).
Overnight Stay: Gangtok
Day 2
Visit the breathtaking Tsomgo (Changu) Lake, situated at an altitude of approximately 12,400 ft. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, this glacial lake changes its colors with the seasons and offers mesmerizing views. Visitors may enjoy optional Yak rides around the lake.
Continue to the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, dedicated to the legendary Indian Army soldier whose spirit is believed to continue protecting the region.
Optional Excursion: Visit Nathula Pass (14,140 ft), one of the historic Indo-China border crossings (subject to permit availability, weather conditions, and additional charges).
After sightseeing, return to Gangtok by evening.
